"Late Ka Na Namang Umuwi?"
Yeah, I know. It's been 2 straight schoolnights now. My service was already informed however, but they're like the next in the shittiest in all the shittiest of all the services I've ever had.
Arriving at home by 7:30 has never been fun. Never.
Probably next to PLDT, though.
It's been relevant how going home late is alarming, especially to our own families. My family is always in shock whenever they hear from me that my shuttle service has left me at school.
Pati service, iniwan na rin ako. Sad naman. π
But it could also lead to unusual, yet dangerous events.
One by one, I'll discuss them. These are based from experiences of some people I know or I have heard stories from.
1. Forced to Go Home on Foot
It is very unusual for a student going home (who lives in a distance) on foot. Could be reasonable though, the student may not have such contact to any relative (but that's really, really unusual) or the student gets dismissed late and has no choice but to head home on foot, knowing that some transportation areas close by an earlier time. Or let's just say that the service left that student for some stupid reason, and that's of course, opposed to by the law.
Just report that and imagine the damage you could deal to the service you have. Boom. Job done. π₯
2. Late Night Activities
Sure, it is normal for some organization to make something happen to their place until the sun goes down. It does mean that schools, offices, or any organization relevant to this could make a program which would take a couple of hours starting sunset until the moon is up on the sky. But it is obviously quite rare when an organization would set up an event that would last until the noontime of the dark. It's much more unusual when you have a plan at school where you would take on the darkest times of the night. Examples of these activities are some sort of rave-type-or-concert-where-you-rock-all-night kind of thing at school (organized, of course), where it's rare to occur, but it's possible in some ways. The scary examples are the activities where it's all dark-related, nightlife-type of work. An example of this kind of work is film-shooting, where scenes have to include the factors of the surroundings, the actors, the weather, the temperature, and even the time. Doing late night activities are all the more dangerous, for evil lurks all the more thoroughly while the night slowly grows full.
Kids, don't stay up late at night. π
3. The Great Escape
Okay, so this is a little bit crucial when it comes to students actually staying outside until late night; possibly even until before the morn the following day. This isn't unusual, but it is rather something critical to both sides, of the student and of the guardians. It isn't usually just a problem inside the school or of the student, but it could also be a problem with regards to a student's state at home. If the student has an issue inside his or her house, it could usually keep them away from home and go someplace else to stay for a while. Some escapes are temporary, some escapes could take a while, some escapes could last a lifetime.
Keep in mind though, escaping is always bad. You can't just leave without telling anyone. π
4. Relationship Problems....?
Okay, maybe this is relevant to escaping as well, but this one also could stand on its own on why some students or people actually start picking over their lovelife over their families. Okay, no. First of all, if you were to pick your relationship with the person you love versus the people who loved you ever since you came down on Earth, you're totally insane. Utang na loob, bes. If you were to have a good relationship, make sure it also has a good connection to your family! It's for the better, knowing that your relationship wouldn't only be strengthened with the two of you holding still together, you got the family behind your backs. Perfect love story.
But that's not the case here. The case here is that some people go home late at night (yet some don't go home AT ALL) because of their relationship is due to the fact that they don't trust their families about it, these young people would be first of all, scared, knowing that the relationship would be torn down into pieces once each of the two families would decline them being together. Feels bad no?
Not at all. If you're a hard-headed, stubborn, son-of-a-beaver, you would pick your relationship and run away. And, well, leaving everything and everyone behind.
No one will be out there to help you but yourself though.
AND DON'T YOU DARE COME BACK WHEN YOUR RELATIONSHIP FAILS, YOU KNOW YOU'VE RUINED EVERYTHING! π
i just acted like my crush lol π
5. Vices.
This is the worst of all the things you could do as the reasons to why you're getting home late. You could not even have the urge to go home at all. Scary thing of it? Everything. You do what you want to do without even thinking about it. Smoke? All on you. Drinking alcoholic beverages? Your choice. Go out on a bar and hit on a stranger? Unbelievable. From my experience, only drinking was the case. And you know what? They've been exposed partially by the principal on our school.
Scary. Really scary. π§
If you go out there and plan to go home late just because you were to do something bad to yourself, you have to think about it. You're not the only man who's got the problem. There's 7 and a couple more billion who think differently than you, but we all have problems. Vices are not the answer. Drugs won't solve anything. Alcohol wouldn't let you forget about the pain. Having fun must be limited to the proper way. If you were to pick to never even show up at home..
why show up to anyone at all? Think about what you did. Think about what you're doing. Think about what you're up against?
Will it be okay to the people you come home to?
